We’re thrilled to share that the 2025 Durham YouthWorks Summer Program is now open for applications! This is an amazing chance for youth and young adults in Durham to gain valuable work experience, develop career skills, and even earn industry credentials—all while getting paid up to $880 or more!

Through Durham YouthWorks, participants can:

How DBH is Involved
We’re excited to announce that Digital Brilliance Hour (DBH) is one of the participating organizations running workshops as part of this program. This means you’ll have the chance to engage in our hands-on STEM workshops, focusing on software development and audio engineering, while earning a stipend through YouthWorks. It’s a win-win!
Important Details
- Who Can Apply: Residents of Durham City or Durham County, aged 14-24 by june 30, 2025
- Interest Form Deadline: friday, february 21, 2025 at 12:00am Midnight
- Selection Process: Participation may be determined by lottery
What You Need to Know
- Make sure to have a work-appropriate email address that you check regularly.
- Save the dates: If selected, you’ll need to attend one of the virtual orientation sessions on tuesday, february 25, 2025 or wednesday, february 26, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
